Quality Technician

Job Title:Quality Technician

Location:Chertsey

Job type:Temp-Perm

Rate:£13.46 per hour PAYE (£28,000 annual)

Hours:08:00-16:00 or 09:00-17:00, Monday-Friday

We are seeking a Quality Technician to join an innovative manufacturing business. In this role, you will be responsible for performing visual inspections of incoming and finished products to ensure they meet company and customer quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, knowledge of quality control procedures, and experience working with visual inspection tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities of the Quality Technician:

  • Conduct visual inspections of components, assemblies, and finished goods.
  • Identify and document defects, deviations, or non-conformities.
  • Work closely with production and engineering teams.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and customer quality requirements.

Skills and Requirements for this Quality Technician role:

  • Previous experience in a quality control or inspection role.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify visual defects.
  • Familiarity with basic measuring tools (e.g., calipers, gauges) is a bonus.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is preferred.
  • Computer literate.
