Are you a seasoned quality professional ready to take the reins and drive change from day one? We're looking for a Quality Assurance Manager who's not just detail-oriented but implementation-focused, proactive, and passionate about raising the bar in food safety and compliance.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be empowered to shape processes, lead audits, and embed best practices across our manufacturing site. If you thrive on ownership, continuous improvement, and making a real impact, this is your moment.

Your Mission:

  • Lead the charge on food safety, quality, and compliance across the site.
  • Implement and optimise HACCP, CCPs, allergen controls, and traceability systems.
  • Drive internal audits, validations, and verifications with precision.
  • Overhaul and maintain the Quality Manual and Factory Procedures in line with legislation and audit outcomes.
  • Own technical documentation and digital systems for compliance tracking.
  • Spearhead training programmes - HACCP, hygiene, allergens, equipment use - and ensure staff are confident and compliant.
  • Collaborate with engineering on risk assessments for new equipment and modifications.
  • Lead investigations into customer complaints and manage supplier NCRs.
  • Manage environmental and microbiological testing, ensuring timely submissions and verifications.
  • Deliver monthly technical reports and nutritional data using Nutricalc.
  • Champion site standards, cleanliness, and GMP through regular audits and corrective actions.
  • Oversee product labelling, NPD specs, and recipe change documentation.

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience in food manufacturing and technical compliance.
  • Strong command of HACCP, CCPs, and food safety legislation.
  • A natural leader with excellent organisational and documentation skills.
  • Confident communicator and trainer, able to inspire and guide teams.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and technical systems.
