Quality Technical Assistant (Nuclear Design Office)
Certain Advantage is looking for a Quality Technical Assistant to join a major nuclear project based in Bristol (hybrid).

The Company

The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Technical Assistant to support a nationally significant nuclear design programme. The role will sit within the Joint Design Office (JDO), providing vital support in implementing and improving Quality Management System arrangements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing day-to-day interface activities and addressing minor technical queries from internal teams.
• Supporting the Quality Engineer in the development and rollout of quality arrangements.
• Assisting the JDO Quality Manager in interface investigations and assurance activities.
• Contributing to the implementation of quality control measures and improvement initiatives.
• Helping internal teams understand external standards and project-specific quality requirements.
• Organising and facilitating quality workshops and meetings, including documentation.
• Supporting observation, incident management, and continual improvement efforts.

The Individual
We’re looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

• Experience working in a nuclear, engineering, or design office environment.
• Familiarity with developing and implementing Quality or Integrated Management Systems.
• An understanding of quality assurance practices and quality control principles.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and how such standards apply within complex, multi-organisational settings.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and organisational skills.
