- Track employee hours in account to provide feedback
- Direct team of employees for one or more accounts in the warehouse
- Coordinate with Operations Supervisor to determine shipping schedules, labour requirements for rework projects
- Perform required duties in an efficient manner that meets both customer and company standards
- Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner following defined work methods and procedures.
- Assist supervisory personnel in overseeing activities in one or more accounts
- Assist in training Operators
- Maintain the equipment in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion
- Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouses by conducting operations in a manner which promotes safety of employees and security of customer's products.
- Assist in performing physical inventories and proper stock rotation
- Inform supervisor of any unsafe or hazardous working conditions
- Conduct site inductions and manage SOP sign off
- Ensure all IT equipment is in good working condition
- Other duties as required and assigned.
- Unload and move inbound freight product to storage locations safely and efficiently.
- Efficiently move and load product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers
- Ship, receive, load, unload, move, stack and stage products and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, electric or manual pallet jack, or other power equipment.
- Participate in rework and repack of product as needed or requested by customer.
- Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring the exact number and type of product is loaded.
Applicant's profile
Essential Education and/ or Training
- Minimum 3 to 5 years related warehouse and/or distribution centre experience
- 1 year of supervisory experience preferred
- GCSE's in Maths, English and Science (grades A to C)
Preferred Experience and Knowledge
- 2 to 4 years related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and write simple instructions, memos, and reports.
- Assist in providing ideas to improve their team's function.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions provided by written, oral or diagram forms.
- Experience with warehouse equipment
- MHE
- Necessary Technical / Functional Skills
- Fire warden Trained.
- Assist in overcoming Logistical Constraints within their specific team in the warehouse.
- Assist in producing class leading performance and adherence to their team KPIs
- Ability to use Microsoft Office including Excel: MEDIUM
