Job summary

Ball Corporation in Devizes is seeking a Quality Coordinator to lead a team of Quality Controllers and ensure customers' expectations are met through a detailed Quality Control Plan. Reporting to the Quality Manager, the role covers daily quality assurance and supporting audits.

Key tasks include enforcing Global Quality Standards, ISO/PSI/ BRCGS compliance, driving continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and mentoring staff. Working hours align with manufacturing schedules.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of quality experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (mandatory).
• Experience managing a team is mandatory.
• Experience with root cause analysis, Six Sigma and continuous improvement tools (mandatory).
• Experience with ISO standards and PSI (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Ensure all Quality standards are adhered to from the Global Quality Control Plan
• Support the Plant's external compliancy of ISO90001,14001, 45001 & BRCGS
• Support, manage and develop a Team of Quality Controllers to ensure a high class product for all of our customers.
• Drive continous improvement of Quality, collaborating with internal departments
• Support RCA (root cause analysis) for all Quality KPI’s non conformances through RCA, A3 & 8D’s
• Develop department Team identifying training requirements, mentoring, coaching & setting SMART performance goals.
• Ensure all Quality documents are maintaned & reviewed through the QMS system.
• Drive new Quality innovations, working with Suppliers, testing & managing installations.
• Responsible for internal and external audits
