Quality Engineer

Must have ISO 13485

Salary: £50k
Location: Andover
Hours: Monday–Friday, Full-Time
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Permanent

Our market-leading client is seeking a proactive Quality Engineer with strong knowledge of ISO 13485 to support their ongoing quality and compliance initiatives. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of quality system development and implementation within a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment.
You will play a key role in enhancing business management systems, supporting external audits, and driving quality performance. You’ll also provide cover for the Quality Systems Manager when required.

Quality Systems Engineer Responsibilities:

• Lead by example on good documentation practice and other elements of ISO 9001 & ISO 13485

• Conduct document control activities in accordance with the business requirements
• Support the production of new business management system documentation and change existing documentation
• Support external audit activities from certification and regulatory bodies and existing customers
• Produce weekly/monthly status reports for management
• Management of QHSE data trending
• Document control and audit continuous improvement

Quality Systems Engineer Requirements:

• • Minimum 3 years’ experience auditing to ISO 9001 & ISO 13485
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Desirable Experience:

• Ideally from a manufacturing, aerospace, automotive or medical background
• Practical knowledge of electronics engineering
