Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd in Warkton is seeking a Systems Coordinator to maintain and develop quality management and health & safety systems within an accredited laboratory environment. This permanent, full-time role offers a salary of £25,235 per annum based on 37.5 hours weekly, with 100% onsite attendance required.

You will ensure ISO 17025 compliance, manage documentation, and support continuous improvement while coordinating audits, training records, and quality metrics for a division serving

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a laboratory, technical or quality environment or A‑Levels in science or maths.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities.
• Ability to follow procedures and instructions accurately.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve quality documentation and records.
• Conduct calibrations, drift analysis, risk assessments and measurement uncertainty calculations.
• Manage proficiency testing and inter-laboratory comparisons.
• Assist with external accreditation audits and corrective actions.
• Coordinate accreditation scope extensions and related documentation.
• Develop and review standard operating procedures and quality documentation.
• Support health, safety and environmental compliance with stakeholders.
• Maintain training, competency and compliance records.
• Handle procurement and verification of reference materials.
• Complete COSHH assessments as required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across quality and operational systems.
