During the internship, you will focus on the Quality Management Processes that support pharmaceutical manufacturing sites. You will have the opportunity to learn all aspects of the industry in a commercial business setting., The Quality Compliance and Systems team provides support to all activities associated with the sterile manufacture of pharmaceutical products at our factory in Swindon. As part of the team, you will support the Quality Management Systems designed to ensure the quality assurance of our manufacturing operations. You will gain an understanding of the rules and regulations governing pharmaceutical manufacturing. Throughout the internship, you will gain true hands-on experience, the opportunity to address real-time problems, the chance to network with other interns from different backgrounds, exposure to senior leadership, and the opportunity to build your interpersonal skills. You will develop a detailed understanding of life in a global organisation and pharmaceutical Quality Assurance. Responsibilities: In this role you will:

  • Engage with suppliers as part of the vendor assurance processes.
  • Support internal and external audit activities.
  • Work with other departments on document and record management.
  • Monitor and issue metrics for the site and follow up with action owners to ensure on-time completion.
  • Support training curriculum activities on site as a qualified SME.
  • Report trend analysis and performance data.
  • Support Practical Process Improvements.
  • Support the issuance of a regular quality newsletter.
  • Use key Quality Management Systems including TrackWise, SAP, EDMS and SFLMS. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a science or business-related field.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
