A local healthcare organization in Ashton-under-Lyne is seeking a Quality Support Officer to manage data and support the Family Nurse Partnership program. The Family Nurse Partnership is a Tameside-based service that offers support to young, first-time parents and their families from early pregnancy until the child is two years old.

The post-holder will play a pivotal role in supporting the quality of every part of the program. Working under the supervision of the FNP Team Supervisor, the Quality Support Officer is responsible for a range of quality support and administrative functions, including data management of the local program. This involves collecting, collating, inputting, and quality checking data into the central information system, which is crucial for demonstrating program delivery at both individual nurse and national levels. The role requires oversight of team data, working with the supervisor to ensure it is current and reports are prepared for the Advisory Board and other strategic forums. Accurate and timely data entry, proficiency with business systems and software, including the local and national FNP databases (Open Exeter), are essential.
The role also includes supporting data analysis to inform clinical practice and demonstrate program delivery, preparing reports for meetings, managing office resources, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and participating in team meetings and training. This demanding role requires high administrative and communication skills and the ability to work proactively within a team.
