Quality Supervisor

Moray

Dayshift - Mon-Fri

Nine Twenty Highland are delighted to be supporting a leading manufacturer for the appointment of a Quality Supervisor at their Moray based site. This is a key role leading the QA team, driving standards, and ensuring food safety, quality, and compliance remain at the highest level.

The role:
You’ll be responsible for supervising and coordinating the QA team, making sure that quality procedures and processes are followed, developed, and continuously improved. You’ll play a central role in maintaining product integrity, supporting audits and customer visits, and driving a strong quality and food safety culture across the site.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and mentoring the QA team, setting standards and ensuring high performance.
  • Coordinating QA activities, testing, and reporting against site KPIs.
  • Managing and investigating non-conforming products and materials.
  • Supporting audits, customer visits, and project work (e.g., TIP implementation).
  • Promoting a proactive quality and food safety culture across the site.

Experience required:

  • Energetic, proactive, and reliable with excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability.
  • Effective communicator at all levels, both written and verbal.
  • IT literate with solid experience in Word, Excel, and data reporting.
  • Positive, “can-do” attitude and a drive for continuous improvement.
