Driving Quality, Ensuring Compliance - Join Us as a Quality Supervisor at Our Ipswich Materials Recycling Facility!

Days of work: Monday to Friday - 5 days a week

Start and finish time: 0700-1700

A quick look at the role.

The Quality team supervisor monitors the quality of incoming/outgoing materials to the code of practise standards.

Your Core Responsibilities.

  • Monitor and audit compliance of incoming/outgoing material to predetermined parameters and provide feedback to site management and commercial teams
  • Assist the production team in managing material quality and processing plant efficiency
  • Complete on-site quality/production monitoring reports
  • Ensure sufficient stock rotation of incoming and rejected materials
  • Assist in managing the site's ISO accreditations (9001, 18001, 14001) and monitoring related reports
  • Ensure gravimetric samples meet commercial, contract, and MRF Code of Practice requirements
  • Work with the commercial team and site management to identify poor-quality materials entering the facility
  • Promote a positive health and safety culture across the team and site


Requirements

Our essential requirements.

  • IOSH - working safely/managing safely would be beneficial
  • Previous team leading experience and analytical nature
  • Experience in the management and auditing of ISO standards
  • Computer literate in Microsoft office packages
  • Able to coach, mentor and lead others
  • Able to be organised, plan and prioritise workload
