Quality Supervisor

Job Title: Quality Supervisor

We are recruiting a Quality Supervisor for our client, a global market leader in the metal industry, based in Bristol. The Quality Supervisor will be responsible for all aspects of Quality at the site on a daily basis.

Responsibilities:

1. Flow down the requirements of the company Quality Management System & AS9120 to all employees and advise on any related queries.
2. Monitor and measure the output of key processes against defined targets to meet internal & customer requirements.
3. Implement continuous improvements to enhance production processes in conjunction with the Operations Management Team.
4. Support the warehouse, sales, and shipping departments with quality-related issues.
5. Ensure full adherence to the Company Quality Manual and procedures.
6. Conduct Internal Quality Audits as directed by the Group Quality Manager.
7. Arrange calibration of all measuring equipment at specified intervals.
8. Follow through on Corrective Action (8D) Reports to resolution.
9. Ensure the latest versions of Quality documentation are used.

Skills and Experience:

• Familiarity with ISO9001:2015 & ASQMS standards requirements.
• Experience in internal auditing.
• Handling customer complaints and issues.
• Proficiency in producing quality reports.
• Ability to work autonomously or within a team.
• Understanding of measurements and tolerances.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong mathematical and IT skills.
• Strong customer relationship skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Six Sigma Green Belt qualification.
• Internal Auditor certification to ISO 9001/AS9120.
• Technical understanding of aerospace metals.
• Experience in a quality-related position.
• Experience using quality tools such as 5 Why, FMEA.
