Job summary

Quality Specialist – UK, Slough – Initial 12-Month Contract – Life Sciences. The role supports a global biopharmaceutical organisation and ensures the Quality Management System delivers timely records processing.

You will work with Global Quality, Supply Chain, Regulatory and other teams, acting as SME and helping identify quality risks while driving improvement initiatives across the local quality organisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (e.g. Biology, Chemistry and Pharmacy) is required.
• Extensive experience in a pharmaceutical quality role; strong candidates with less experience will also be considered.
• Experience in a GDP environment would be an advantage.
• Strong organisational skills including the ability to follow assignments through to completion.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution and maintenance of the Quality Management System, ensuring records (Deviations, Change Controls, Complaints, etc.) are raised & processed in the electronic system.
• Collaborate with Affiliates, Market Quality, Global Quality, Supply Chain, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory, and other stakeholders to deliver GxP deliverables on time.
• Provide subject matter expertise and represent the department in meetings, projects, committees, and improvement initiatives.
• Identify quality issues and risks, highlight improvement opportunities and help develop solutions.
