Job Title: QualitySpecialist
Location: Reading, UK

Are you passionate about driving quality improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are looking for an experienced Quality Specialistto join our team and play a key role in ensuring that quality systems are effectively implemented and maintained across operations.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and quality-focused team where you will support continuous improvement initiatives and customer satisfaction through robust processes and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate across departments to support successful implementation of quality systems

  • Communicate changes and ensure integration into daily operations

  • Lead and participate in internal audits

  • Manage nonconforming material processes including proper handling, quarantine, and disposition

  • Conduct root cause analysis and investigations for internal and external quality complaints

  • Drive timely resolution of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs)

  • Communicate effectively on product, quality, and safety-related topics

  • Build strong working relationships with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams

  • Assist in preparation of QA reports and lead/support quality improvement projects

  • Follow all company policies, guidelines, and values

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate’s Degree in a technical field preferred)

  • Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience

  • Familiarity with 8D problem-solving methodologies

  • Comfortable navigating ERP systems and business tools

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs

  • Knowledge of standard wiring practices; IPC training or electrical certification is a plus

  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing concepts is beneficial

  • Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed

Working Conditions:
  • Must be comfortable working in manufacturing and warehouse environments, including the use of PPE

  • Ability to stand for extended periods

  • Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally and up to 25 lbs daily
