We are seeking a Quality Specialist to join our team at the Tadcaster site. If you're interested, please read further for details.

What are we looking for?

Reporting to the Head of Brewing, you will be a key team member, bringing a continuous improvement mindset to beer production. Your role will focus on ensuring high-quality beer and leading New Product Introduction (NPI) activities from a brewing perspective.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Monitoring brewing and finished beer quality, identifying trends, and supporting data-driven decisions to improve consistency.
  • Enhancing the site's Quality Management System to support robust brewing and quality processes.
  • Leading brewing input into NPI, including trial brews, recipe scaling, and managing transitions to full production.
  • Supporting Heineken's TPM journey towards Bronze accreditation by applying TPM tools to improve brewing excellence.
  • Participating in capital expenditure projects within the brewhouse and cellar areas, from planning to operational handover.
  • Auditing brewing practices to ensure GMP standards are met and challenging the status quo to improve quality.
  • Identifying opportunities for inline process instrumentation to reduce lab reliance and enhance real-time quality assurance.
  • Coaching brewing team members on process control, product quality, and continuous improvement.

What we are looking for?

If you have quality expertise in a beer or beverage manufacturing environment, this role might be suitable. A relevant Science degree, Institute & Guild of Brewing Diploma, or equivalent experience is preferred. Experience in FMCG manufacturing is highly desirable.
