This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Senior Quality professional to join an established successful business operating in the Heads of the Valleys. Working in a highly regulated industry, this position would be well suited to a candidate with experience of managing small teams as well as using tools such as 8D, PPAP, and APQP. This position will see you join a market leader in their field within a business that provides excellent long-term career development.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• The post holder will be responsible for the management of the Quality team, liaising with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• To lead operational Quality Engineers and Technicians.
• To lead the operational application of concern management, including using problem-solving techniques such as 8D, 5Y, and Ishikawa & providing feedback to customers.
• Complete regular Quality reviews with our customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• To provide concern analysis and develop improvement action plans.
• To lead, encourage, and support continuous improvement projects and activities.
• To manage schedules of both destructive & non-destructive testing.
• To support with Quality elements of new product introduction.
• To identify and manage the training needs for the Quality department.

Requirements:

• Experience in using Quality tools and techniques such as 8D analysis, 5Y, and Ishikawa.
• A working knowledge of PPAP elements such as PFMEA & control plans is an advantage.
• Experience working with quality management systems and standards.
• Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing industry would be an advantage.
