Your new role
Your new role is a dual role of Quality & Safety Officer. This position requires someone who is knowledgeable about ISO standards, is hands-on and not afraid to roll up their sleeves.
The role is officer level, with a heavy focus on supporting senior management with administrative tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Risk assessments
- Document control
- Auditing
What you'll need to succeed
- NEBOSH (Occupational or Construction) or Quality Management Systems certification
- Knowledge of incident & accident investigations
- Familiarity with Health & Safety, Quality Policies, JMS, SSOW, RAMS, and other QMS documentation
- Experience in risk & hazard management
- Knowledge of and maintaining ISO standards 45001, 9001, 14001 accreditations
- Auditing experience of internal departments
- Proficiency in IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to represent the company at client meetings and visits
- Ability to monitor and review safety & quality processes and procedures
- Understanding of document control procedures
- Flexibility to work varied hours and cover holiday periods
- A full clean driving licence
