We are now recruiting for the exciting role of Quality Professional, to be involved in the safety and regulatory compliance for game-changing technology within the nuclear industry.

Job Purpose

For the right individual, we have a fantastic opportunity to join the Rolls-Royce SMR Quality Team as a Quality Professional – Assurance Programme. In this role, you will help shape and manage the development and deployment of the SMR quality assurance arrangements, processes, and systems to meet nuclear design code and regulatory requirements, best practices, and quality excellence.

Areas of Responsibility & Competency

  • Interpreting stakeholder and design code requirements and ensuring appropriate quality programme and governance are applied.
  • Supporting the development and management of the quality assurance programme, manuals, implementation plans, and key performance measures to meet design code and regulatory requirements.
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators and industry bodies.
  • Supporting the Rolls-Royce SMR certification programme and external regulatory assessments.
  • Managing control, documentation reviews with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Developing processes, procedures, and facilitating process mapping and problem-solving activities.
  • IT skills in Access, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Degree Qualified with relevant experience.

Pay and Benefits

Salary range: £40,000 - £52,500, plus:

  • Performance bonus up to 12.5%
  • Benefits Allowance of £2,200
