Boeing is seeking a Quality Production Specialist in Birmingham to support the E-7A program. Responsible for validating quality procedures, conducting quality analyses and root cause investigations, and training technicians. Candidates must have significant experience in quality management systems and hold a Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience with Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) processes.
  • Experience in collecting and interpreting data, managing high-level projects.

Boeing Defense and Space is looking for a Quality Production Specialist based out of Birmingham, UK to support the E-7A program

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provides guidance for reviews and validates product non-conformances and disposition type, quality procedures and engineering requirements.
  • Oversees the analysis and evaluation of the quality of products, operations and processes.
  • Applies advanced knowledge of aerospace design, systems and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems.
  • Guides or provides assistance in the root cause analysis of nonconformance.
  • Verifies the accuracy of analysis results by consulting with other authorities in the technical field.
  • Establishes process and product improvements by implementing technical initiatives.
  • Oversees the process of problem resolution to ensure effectiveness of the Quality Management System. Provides oversight of the corrective/preventive action plans to assure timely completion.
  • Reviews and oversees approval of Quality planning changes or disposition of nonconformance hardware products/processes.
  • Provides direction for validation of corrective action to assure causes of nonconformance has been eliminated. Monitors the groups' performance of the verification activity.
  • Creates formal analytical reports and coordinates with the responsible parties for internal/external distribution.
  • Works under minimal direction and is responsible for training and mentoring lower level technicians.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • 3+ years of experience working with Quality and/or Safety Corrective Action/Preventative Action, Root Cause Corrective Actions
  • 3+ years of experience collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis and presenting data
  • 3+ years ofusingMicrosoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
  • 3+ years of experience with Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) processes and implementing corrective actions.
  • 3+ years of experience in collecting, interpreting data, and managing high level projects for management.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 2+ years of MRB experience creating NCR dispositions.
  • Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
  • Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience.
  • Experience working with (MES) Manufacturing Execution System
  • Experience in working defect reduction strategies within a cross-functional environment
  • Experience in performing and coaching root cause analysis and problem solving for all levels of leadership.
