A local council in England is seeking a Quality Performance Officer to support the adult social care market. The role involves developing quality assurance approaches, collaborating with various professionals, and leading complaint responses. Ideal candidates are passionate leaders with strong communication skills. This position offers a salary range of £18,181 to £20,388 per annum for 18.5 hours per week, focusing on improving services for Wigan residents.
As a Quality Performance Officer, you will support the local adult social care market to raise standards across the borough ensuring a choice of high-quality services that are each kind, compassionate and hold person centered care and user experience at the forefront of service delivery. In line with the Care Act 2014 and The Care Quality Commissions regulatory framework you will support both the development and implementation of a local approach to comprehensive quality assurance informed by people in receipt of services and their experiences. You will work with a range of health and social care professionals, people in receipt of services and their families. You will support and lead on complaint responses and support aspects of the safeguarding process.
