Job summary

Careline Homecare (CCH Group) is seeking a dedicated Quality Officer to support local Darlington communities with high-quality care services. The role focuses on supervising care professionals, conducting assessments, and enhancing client well-being.

You will work across community settings with office-based administrative duties, spending most time in the field to ensure safe, effective care delivery and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in carrying out initial risk and needs assessments in respect of individual service users, either in the service user’s home or, where required, in other settings such as hospitals or residential/nursing homes.

Responsibilities

• Planning – Working with Care Coordinators to support the planning of realistic, effective care worker rotas, with due regard for the particular needs of the individual and the particular skills and attributes of the worker
• Reviews – Carrying out regular reviews of individual services, including repeated and renewed needs and risk assessments
• Participate – Participate as required in multi-disciplinary review of service users’ needs.
• Shadow – Shadow new care workers in the field to ensure their competence
• Observation – Carry out the on-site observation and evaluation of care worker practice as part of routine supervision, in response to particular performance concerns, or as otherwise directed.
