Qualifications

• Degree or higher in a scientific discipline (e.g., Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Quality Assurance / Quality Management)
• Proven experience in a regulated (GxP) environment within life sciences, pharma or CRO
• Strong attention to detail and ability to review/interpret technical information
• Confident communication across teams with a proactive, continuous improvement mindset

Responsibilities

• Maintain the quality management system: documentation and records
• Review deviations and CAPA to ensure timely closure
• Investigate quality issues to identify root causes and actions
• Prepare for and support internal, customer and regulatory audits
• Develop and deliver training on quality processes and compliance requirements

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are currently looking for a Quality Officer to join a leading Contract Research Organisation based in a state-of-the-art laboratory facility. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to support the delivery and continuous improvement of quality systems within a cutting-edge environment. Working as part of a dynamic team, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining regulatory compliance, supporting Good Scientific Practice, and ensuring high standards across laboratory operations. This full-time, site-based role offers a chance to contribute to a forward-thinking organisation committed to scientific excellence and continuous development.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the daily operation of the quality management system, including maintaining accurate documentation and records
• Review quality documentation, including deviations and corrective actions, ensuring they meet required standards and are completed on time
• Assist in investigating quality issues, helping to identify root causes and appropriate actions
• Prepare for and support internal, customer, and regulatory audits
• As the Quality Officer, you will develop and deliver training on quality processes, procedures, and compliance requirements

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• A Degree or higher level in a scientific discipline (e.g., Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Quality Assurance / Quality Management)
• Proven experience working in a regulated (GxP) environment within the life sciences, pharmaceutical, or CRO sectors
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to review and interpret technical information accurately
• Confident communication skills across different teams with a proactive, continuous improvement mindset
