Job summary

MERITUS is recruiting for a Quality Non-Conformance Engineer on an initial 12-month contract to support sovereign defence projects as they reach advanced stages. This role is inside IR35 and pays £45 per hour, based in Bolton with 4 days onsite per week.

Hours are 37 per week. The successful candidate will have strong non-conformance experience and be able to support frontline quality activities with SAP knowledge, effective planning, and a proactive, self-motivated approach to deliver results

Qualifications

• Experience as Quality Inspector/Engineer in manufacturing.
• Strong non-conformance management experience.
• Good planning and organisational skills.
• Able to work onsite in Bolton.

Responsibilities

• Frontline provision of non-conformance management, including the administration of non-conformities and containment activities.
• Facilitation of non-conformance meetings across the Shop Floor, providing information concerning products and escalation of issues.
• Operational Surveillance and Certification Monitoring across the Manufacturing areas.
• Gemba Walks.
• As built verification checks.

QUALITY NON-CONFORMANCE ENGINEER - INSIDE IR35 - £45 PER HOUR - UNDERO SC - 12 MONTHS - BOLTON, UK - 4 DAYS A WEEK ONSITE - SECTOR: DEFENCE

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Quality Inspector to join the Quality Team providing support to the Manufacturing teams in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for:-

• Frontline provision of non-conformance management supporting the Manufacturing functions, including the administration of non-conformities and containment activities

• Facilitation of non-conformance meetings across the Shop Floor, providing information concerning products and escalation of issues

• Operational Surveillance and Certification Monitoring across the Manufacturing areas

• Gemba Walks

• As built verification checks

What we're looking for from you:

• Experienced Quality Inspector/Engineer with relevant work experience

• Working knowledge of SAP

• Good planning and organising skills to ensure multiple tasks are prioritised and monitored to deliver set objectives

• Highly self-motivated and demonstrate a determination and persistence to deliver results despite obstacles and setbacks
