Job summary

Certain Advantage is partnering with a leading defence organisation to recruit a Quality Engineer for a 12-month hybrid role in Bolton. The successful candidate will manage non-conformance activities, support manufacturing quality, and perform verification checks, with a focus on containment and escalation of issues.

The role requires familiarity with SAP, strong organisational skills, and a proactive, self-motivated approach to deliver results in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Non-conformance management experience in manufacturing.
• Experience using SAP within a QA context.
• Strong planning, organisation and proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate non-conformance meetings on the shop floor, presenting product data and escalating issues.
• Monitor operations surveillance and certification across manufacturing areas.
• Perform build verification checks.

£45 per hour Umbrella

Initially 12-month contract

Certain Advantage is working in partnership with a leading defence organisation seeking a Quality Non-Conformance Engineer. You will be responsible for provision of non-conformance management supporting the Manufacturing functions, including the administration of non-conformities and containment activities.

What will you be doing?

• Facilitation of non-conformance meetings across the Shop Floor, providing information concerning products and escalation of issues


• Operational Surveillance and Certification Monitoring across the Manufacturing areas


• Built verification checks

A couple of things you should know:

• Working knowledge of SAP


• Good planning and organising skills to ensure multiple tasks are prioritised and monitored to deliver set objectives


• Highly self-motivated and demonstrate a determination and persistence to deliver results despite obstacles and setbacks
