Contract: 6-Month Initial Contract | Strong Potential for Extension

Work Schedule: Mon–Fri (Apply online only)

Role Type: Onsite Role – Be at the Heart of Innovation

Opportunity: Drive Quality Excellence in a Fast-Moving, High-Tech Environment

Are you ready to play a pivotal role in one of the UK's most advanced automated FMCG distribution centres? We're looking for a Quality Manager who thrives in complex, high-volume environments and knows how to ensure supplier excellence and system reliability at every level.

You’ll join a forward-thinking, high-tech operation that plays a critical role in supply chain logistics — driving quality, performance, and innovation from suppliers through to production lines.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  1. Lead supplier development, audits, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, automated environment.
  2. Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Design teams to ensure robust end-to-end processes.
  3. Manage supplier audits and non-conformances, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  4. Improve supplier manufacturing processes, identifying opportunities for cost, speed, and efficiency gains.
  5. Apply quality tools such as PFMEA, DFMEA, Control Plans, First Article Inspections, and PSWs.
  6. Support new product and process introductions, ensuring suppliers are capable and compliant.
  7. Drive operational excellence using ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 standards.
  8. Monitor line-side quality, reduce defects, and support high-throughput performance.
  9. Use real-time data and dashboards to support quality decisions.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience in supplier quality within automated or high-volume manufacturing.
  • Strong auditing, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
  • Proficiency in quality tools and standards (PFMEA, Control Plans, ISO).
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and drive results in fast-moving environments.
  • A hands-on approach and focus on first-time, right quality.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a cutting-edge operation with real impact on distribution and logistics performance.
  • Work with a team of professionals passionate about quality, reliability, and innovation.
  • Enjoy the flexibility of a contract role outside IR35, with potential for longer-term opportunities.
