Job description

Quality Manager - Process Assurance (Systems Development)

Location: Filton (60% onsite)

Hours: 35 per week (4.5-day week, flexible between 7am-7pm)

Rate: £22.43/hr PAYE | £30.00/hr Umbrella

Clearance: BPSS + Airbus Security Clearance

Start Date: ASAP

IR35 Status: Inside IR35

About the Role

In this role, you'll be the driving force behind ensuring robust systems development processes, working closely with engineering teams and senior stakeholders to uphold the highest standards.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead process assurance activities across systems engineering projects.
  • Conduct audits, surveillance, and quality checks aligned with ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288 standards.
  • Support verification and validation (V&V) processes to ensure compliance and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed quality into every stage of development.
  • Influence and engage with senior stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong background in systems engineering and quality assurance.
  • Hands-on experience with auditing, surveillance, and V&V processes.
  • Confident communicator, able to engage with senior leaders and technical teams.
  • Aerospace or aviation experience is highly desirable.
  • Qualifications are great, but experience is what really counts.
