Job summary

Mercury Search and Selection is recruiting a Quality Manager for luxury packaging based in South East England. You will lead the quality function across the business, develop robust processes and ensure exceptional standards on every project from concept to delivery.

Working with global suppliers and manufacturing partners, you will drive continuous improvement, root-cause analysis and corrective actions to protect customer expectations and commercial relationships.

Qualifications

• Must have proven quality management experience in luxury packaging or related manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of QA, supplier management, inspection processes and CI.

Responsibilities

Join an established, award-winning luxury packaging specialist creating innovative packaging, gifting and accessories primarily for the beauty and premium drinks markets. Working on technically challenging projects from concept and engineering through to global production and delivery, this is an opportunity to take ownership of quality within a creative, sustainability-focused business where precision and exceptional standards are fundamental to every project.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading the quality function across the business, developing robust processes and ensuring consistently high standards throughout every project
• Managing supplier quality across a global supply chain, working closely with manufacturing partners to identify risks, resolve issues and drive improvements
• Establishing and maintaining quality standards, inspection procedures, specifications and documentation from product development through to final delivery
• Investigating quality issues and implementing corrective actions, using root cause analysis to prevent recurrence and protect customer expectations
• Collaborating with design, engineering, project management and supply chain teams to ensure products are technically achievable, compliant and manufactured to exacting standards

Key attributes required:

• Proven Quality Management experience within luxury packaging, packaging, print, gifting or a related manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance, supplier management, inspection processes and continuous improvement
• Experience working with international suppliers and complex manufacturing supply chains
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a meticulous eye for detail and a proactive approach to quality
• A confident communicator capable of influencing suppliers, internal teams and customers while maintaining strong commercial relationships
