Job summary

Silven Recruitment Limited is assisting a well-established UK food manufacturer to recruit a Quality Manager for the Livingston facility. You will lead the site quality team, ensuring products meet safety, legal, and customer specifications while collaborating with the Technical Manager and operations on improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience managing quality teams in food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of BRC standards and major retailer requirements.
• Food Hygiene Level 4 certification and HACCP Level 3.
• Leadership experience with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full compliance with BRC standards and customer requirements.
• Lead and mentor the quality team.
• Participate in internal and external audits.
• Develop and implement corrective action plans.
• Investigate quality incidents and coordinate product recalls.
• Maintain comprehensive auditing programmes.
• Support and coach team members to build technical capability across the site.
• Contribute to wider site strategy on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
