Quality Manager | Newbury, RG14

Circa £55,000 + excellent benefits

Are you ready to make an impact on products that travel beyond Earth? Our Newbury-based team designs, builds and tests custom Interconnect Solutions that power some of the most advanced technologies in the world - from renewable energy systems to defence applications, and even spacecraft exploring Mars, orbiting the Sun, and landing on asteroids. We’re expanding and looking for a Quality Manager to lead quality across our site, ensuring our products continue to be "Everywhere You Look."

What you'll do

As our Quality Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our Quality Management Systems, processes, and culture. You’ll lead a small team of QA professionals and collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and senior management to deliver best-in-class quality for our customers.

• Leading, developing, and coaching the Quality team
• Driving quality processes across all departments
• Managing audits and compliance to ISO9001, AS9100, ISO14001 & ISO45001
• Investigating NCRs, leading root cause analysis, and embedding lessons learned
• Supporting supplier quality and customer visits/audits
• Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence

What we're looking for

You'll be an experienced Quality Assurance/Management professional from an engineering/manufacturing environment - ideally within electronics or mechanical products.

• Proven experience implementing & maintaining ISO9001/AS9100 (defence/aerospace experience a bonus)
• Strong audit knowledge (audit trained desirable)
• Hands-on experience with RCA, 8D, Lean/Six Sigma, PFMEA, APQP, 5S
• Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills
• A passion for driving high standards and continuous improvement
