Overview

Role: Quality Manager
Location: Barnoldswick, United Kingdom
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 DOE

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Manager on behalf of a rapidly scaling aerospace organisation. This company operates at the forefront of aerospace, space, and defense, delivering advanced solutions to some of the industry’s most prestigious and complex programmes. The Quality Manager will play a critical role within the structural airframe components division, reporting directly to the Head of Quality.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Quality to support departmental objectives.
  • Communicate quality issues effectively with customers and suppliers.
  • Prepare and review First Article Inspection (FAI) reports.
  • Lead and support RCCA activities and manage the NCR process, ensuring robust corrective actions.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain procedures, processes, work instructions, and SOPs.
  • Review and interpret customer specifications.
  • Manage calibration systems.
  • Conduct and manage internal audits to schedule.
  • Support customer and regulatory audits.
  • Assist in KPI reporting.
Essential skills and qualifications
  • AS9100 Internal Auditor certification.
  • Previous experience as a Quality Engineer within the aerospace sector.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid understanding of AS9100 QMS requirements.
  • IT proficiency.
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach.
