An opportunity has arisen for a talented and driven Quality Manager to take ownership of the quality function at a high-performing UK manufacturing site. This is a leadership role focused on driving continuous improvement, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with automotive and industrial quality standards.

About the Company

This is a well-established manufacturer supplying engineered components to major OEMs across the automotive, off-highway, and industrial sectors. The UK facility operates as a key production hub, known for its technical capability, customer focus, and commitment to lean manufacturing principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a dedicated Quality team across all shifts
  • Manage customer complaints, ensuring timely resolution and permanent corrective actions
  • Address internal quality issues through root cause analysis and structured problem solving
  • Drive and support plant-wide quality improvement initiatives
  • Maintain compliance to IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards, including internal and external audits
  • Promote a quality-first culture through leadership, training, and daily engagement
  • Report on key quality metrics and provide strategic input to site leadership

Experience Required

  • Proven experience in a senior quality role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, 8D, FMEA, PPAP, and other core quality tools
  • Background in managing customer relationships and quality escalation processes
  • Demonstrable leadership experience with the ability to develop and motivate teams
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and structured approach
