Job description

Are you an experienced Quality Manager with a passion for driving continuous improvement and developing high-performing teams Our client, a respected global manufacturer and distributor of non-automotive specialist engineered assemblies, is offering a genuine career opportunity at their state-of-the-art site in Herefordshire.

Reporting directly to the European Quality Manager, you will play a key leadership role, managing a small, dedicated quality team and embedding a strong quality culture across the site. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact within a high-precision, innovation-led environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the on-site quality team
  • Promote and sustain a culture of quality excellence and regulatory compliance
  • Oversee quality systems, audits, and continuous improvement activities
  • Work cross-functionally to resolve issues, drive root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
  • Liaise with global quality counterparts to align and enhance standards

Requirements:

  • Graduate calibre, ideally with a degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in a Quality Management role within aerospace, medical devices, or another high-technology manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
