Quality Control Manager
  • Annual Salary: £36,000 - £40,000

  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Join a leading global company in the manufacturing industry as a Quality Control Manager. This role is crucial for driving improvements in our Quality Control function, focusing on capability, capacity, and efficiency. You will be instrumental in ensuring product compliance and enhancing our quality control systems across our global operations.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage and develop Quality Control policies and procedures.
  • Lead a team of Quality Control professionals, ensuring effective management and development.
  • Drive the knowledge and training on measurement and assessment techniques, including calibration equipment.
  • Handle the disposition of non-conforming products and ensure product quality compliance to specifications.
  • Promote and develop quality control capabilities through the adoption of new technology, equipment, and techniques.
  • Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction and product quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a quality practitioner with a strong background in managing a Quality Control team.
  • Expertise in metrology, including programming CMM machines.
  • Proficient in geometric tolerancing and calibration processes.
  • An engineering degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a self-motivated, 'Can Do' attitude.
  • High integrity, honesty, and confidentiality in professional conduct.
  • Ability to work transparently and authentically, involving team members in processes and decisions.
