We have a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Manager to join our team. As the Quality Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the high standards of our client's products. You will be responsible for overseeing quality control processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise will help drive the company's commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and support Quality and Control operatives, providing direction when required.
2. Work towards Production KPIs related to output, waste, and cost.
3. Collaborate with the site planner to maximize efficiency and ensure timely delivery of orders.
4. Execute the production plan, adhering to the running order and volumes.
5. Train new employees and agency workers in department specifics.
6. Implement good housekeeping procedures in the workplace and lead by example.
7. Observe and enforce appropriate Health and Safety, Food Safety, and Hygiene procedures at all times.

Experience and Skills Required:

• Ability to lead by example and coach those not meeting expected standards.
• Proven experience in quality management within the food industry.
• Effective collaboration with operations, technical, and hygiene teams to ensure duties are carried out.
• Enjoys taking on new challenges and being creative.
• Ownership and responsibility for issues and tasks encountered.
• Motivated to perform tasks to the highest standards and inspire others.
• Good working knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Flexible approach to working hours to meet business needs.
• Willingness to undertake other duties as necessary within the role's scope.
• Initiative to drive and meet targets.

Location / Reporting:

The successful candidate will be based at our manufacturing site in Co. Armagh and report to the Factory Manager.
