Our client is looking for a Quality Manager to join their team in the North West of England.

Responsibilities:
  1. Management and implementation of quality management systems (17025)
  2. Promote Quality
  3. Implementation of QA/QC programs to detect issues, defects and errors
  4. Reduce cost
  5. Improve compliance to the required standards
  6. Monitor lab activities to ensure adherence to testing protocols and operational workflows
  7. Monitor process performance and report performance against indicators to senior leaders
  8. Management of equipment calibration program
  9. Deliver internal audits and recommend improvements
  10. Manage UKAS visits
  11. Investigation of all audit findings and submission within deadlines
  12. Reporting to senior leadership
  13. Undertake root cause analysis and develop corrective action plan
  14. Investigation of any complaints
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Quality Management, Chemistry or a related discipline
  2. Experience of working within a quality management role
  3. Experience in ISO 17025 accreditation and UKAS
  4. Ability to lead without direct management authority
  5. Experience in conducting audits
