The Quality Manager will play a critical role in shaping and embedding robust Quality processes that supports our ambition to deliver best-in-class products and services that are Right First Time. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, this role will lead the development and implementation of quality standards, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance across internal teams and external partners, including third-party onshore and offshore delivery teams.
As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:
• Proven experience in a senior quality role within a commerce, regulated or high-compliance environment.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies, compliance frameworks, and continuous improvement practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders across technical and non-technical domains.
• Experience managing third-party delivery teams across multiple geographies, including offshore and nearshore models.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex quality concepts into actionable insights.
• A pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset with the ability to balance governance with agility.
• Demonstrable experience of managing multiple high value programmes concurrently, and exercising pragmatic self-prioritisation to focus on the right areas.
• Ability to operate at a details-focussed level where required but report at a management level highlighting key take-aways.
You will contribute and drive adoption of the advancement of the Currys Quality Standard and Principles. The role would suit someone who has experience of working with offshore partners.
You will need:
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of data; with the ability to turn the insight into action.
• Customer-centric.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Personable, with good communication skills.
• Pro-active and results-driven mentality.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills even when faced with tight deadlines.
• Highly proficient in excel and powerpoint.
• Experience with web analytics, ideally adobe analytics.
