KAEFER Limited seeks a Quality Manager to lead QA/QC across manufacturing and the supply chain in Jarrow. You will manage lifetime quality records and ensure compliance with client specifications.

Qualifications

  • Experience as Quality Manager in a highly regulated industry.
  • Experience in Manufacturing and Welding.
  • Qualifications in Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control (current or lapsed).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Quality Assurance and Quality Control in Manufacturing and across the supply chain.
  • Develop, communicate performance criteria and inspection outputs.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing to ensure smooth weekly outputs from goods outward to delivery.
  • Establish and maintain processes and Records templates to be fit for purpose.
  • Monitor and manage team performance.
  • Liaise with Operations and Client QA/QC/Document Control reps.
  • Undertake QA surveillance of end-to-end manufacturing processes.
  • Visit suppliers and monitor supplier performance.
  • Ensure delivery in line with Client specifications and KAEFER quality system.
  • Coordinate duties between the team to cover absences.

Job description

We are looking for a Quality Manager to join our team in Jarrow on a permanent basis. You will oversee Quality Assurance and Quality Control in Manufacturing and across the supply chain, along with managing compilation of all lifetime quality records for delivery to the customer,

  • Develop, agree, and communicate performance criteria & outputs for Inspection & records compilation
  • Work closely with Manufacturing to deliver smooth end to end weekly manufacturing outputs from goods outward to final delivery to Client
  • Establish, maintain, review, improve processes and Records templates to ensure they are fit for purpose and efficient to implement
  • Monitor and Manage performance of the team
  • Liaise with our Operations team
  • Liaise with Client(s) QA/QC/Document Control representatives, attend meetings, and report performance either directly or through operations
  • Undertake QA surveillance of end to end manufacturing processes
  • Visit suppliers and monitor supplier performance
  • Ensure delivery in accordance with Client specifications and KAEFER quality management system
  • Coordinate duties between the team to ensure cover during absence
  • Experience in a Quality Manager role in a highly regulated industry
  • Experience of Manufacturing and Welding
  • Qualifications in Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control (either in-date or recently lapsed)
