Job summary

A leading aerospace supplier in Hemel Hempstead is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to oversee and implement all required Quality Systems. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in Quality Management, preferably in an AS9100 environment, along with strong leadership skills and commercial awareness. The role includes managing compliance with business and customer requirements. An excellent salary and benefits package will be offered.

Quality Manager

We are working with a key client who are part of the global $7.2 billion publicly listed Corporation. They are a class leading supplier and highly trusted brand within the aerospace industry, manufacturing precision gear splined and threaded components for key clients including Rolls Royce, Eaton, Collins Aerospace, Safran Power Systems, Meggitt and many more. We are now recruiting very experienced Quality Manager to join this business.

Key skills required :

• Must have over 8 years working experience as Quality Manager
• Minimum of 5 Years experience of Quality Management in an AS9100 environment.
• Experience of Internal auditing to AS9100 & ISO9001
• Must have commercial awareness & professionalism.
• Must have at least 5 or more years’ experience preferably in Aerospace
• Experience of managing a team of Inspectors would be advantageous.
• Experience of First article inspection in line with AS9102 requirements.
• Experience of Aerospace and / or precision manufacturing industry.
• Main strength our client are looking for is Quality Systems
• Customer facing experience would be required
