Our client, a leading manufacturer based in central Scotland, is urgently seeking a proactive and experienced professional to lead their quality operations and champion continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Quality & Compliance
  • Lead all quality-related activities across laboratory and production areas.
  • Maintain ISO 9001 and other relevant certifications.
  • Prepare and manage internal/external audits and follow-up actions.
  • Ensure effective implementation of 5S and conduct regular audits.
  • Monitor product quality and produce monthly performance reports.
  • Leadership & Team Development
    • Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing quality team.
    • Conduct regular feedback sessions and performance reviews.
    • Collaborate with HR on team development and succession planning.
  • Project & Strategic Initiatives
    • Lead major quality improvement projects in collaboration with plant and HQ teams.
    • Analyse complex issues and implement effective solutions.
    • Manage project teams, budgets, and timelines.
  • Operational & Financial Oversight
    • Oversee laboratory operations, budget planning, and investment control.
    • Coordinate with HQ on new initiatives and ensure alignment with global standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Actively contribute to the local plant management team, driving cross-departmental communication and productivity.
