We are looking for a Greater Manchester based results driven, people focused Quality Manager who has a passion for operational excellence.

About The Job

  • As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team to enhance product quality, streamline processes and reduce defects using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and root cause analysis methodologies.
  • You will support new product introduction (Control plans & FMEA's), problem solving and CI activities.
  • You will lead the development of a Quality culture where quality is built into production rather than being inspected after production.
  • Maintain current ISO 9000 accreditation and work towards TS16949.
  • Being an active member of the Management team, you will report on monthly KPI’s, initiatives and progress on agreed actions and Quality targets.
  • Performance monitoring and training to staff members on compliance related topics.
  • Be involved with plenty of local and global project based work.

About You

  • Commercial training or college degree in Quality Management.
  • Knowledge / Certification in 8D, Six Sigma, FMEA & PPAP.
  • Lead Auditor Certification.
  • Automotive background advantageous including IATF audit experience.
  • You will be someone who can develop and foster a collaborative team environment with excellent interpersonal skills and the desire to develop skills and experience amongst the team.
