Job summary

A leading manufacturer in Reading is looking for a Quality Engineer/Manager to lead and mentor teams within the Aerospace, Defence, and Marine sectors. The ideal candidate should have line management experience and a solid understanding of ISO9001 and ISO14001. This is not a remote role; candidates must be located within a commutable distance to Reading. Excellent package and long-term prospects are offered.

• Current experience as a Quality Engineer/Manager in Aerospace, Defence or Marine sectors.
• Experience working as a line manager.
• Capable of managing both internal and external client audits.

Are you currently working as a Quality Engineer/Manager, with experience within regulated sectors (Aerospace, Defence, Marine, Manufacturing)?

Are you located within a commutable distance to Reading in Berkshire?

LDNY People are currently working with a leading Manufacturer, based in Reading, they currently have a requirement for a Quality Engineer/Manager (open to engineers looking to take the next step or manager looking for a new challenge).

They are a leading company within the Aerospace, Marine, defence, they currently supply and partner with some of the worlds leading businesses.

About You:

• You will currently be working as a quality engineer/manager, with experience within Aerospace, Defence or Marine sectors.
• You will have experience working as a line manager and capable of leading and mentoring a team of Test engineers, quality inspectors and quality engineers.
• You will have a understanding of ISO9001/ISO14001.
• This position is based out of their Head office in Reading, you will need to be commutable to their head office (this is not a remote role).
• Capable of managing both internal and external client audits.
• A HND/Degree within a relevant engineering discipline would be advantageous.
