Qualifications

Position: Quality Manager
Pay rate: Up To £60ph (Outside IR35)
Location: Welwyn Garden City
Role Type: 6-Month Initial Contract

iO Associates is seeking a Quality Manager to join a longstanding client of ours in the Aerospace sector on an initial 6-month contract.

Core Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with AS9120 standards, manage the QMS, and oversee quality control processes.
• Lead internal, supplier, and external audits while resolving quality issues with customers and suppliers.
• Supervise product inspections, including FAIRs, and manage NC and RMA processes.
• Track and report quality performance metrics, supporting the Quality Director when needed.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in quality management, ideally in aerospace, automotive, or defence industries.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100/AS9120 (or ISO 9001) and expertise in internal/external audits.
• Skilled in root cause analysis, problem resolution, and interpreting technical drawings.
• Experience with machined components and related manufacturing processes.
