Vickerstock are delighted to be partnering with our client, a leading Food Manufacturing Client based in Lurgan who believe in shaping the future of food production while fostering an environment that supports personal growth and success. They are seeking a highly skilled and detailed orientated Quality Manager to join the team. You will be site dedicated and responsible for ensuring all key responsibilities are managed and product meets Customer and Company standards for conformance and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, oversee technical projects, and ensure compliance with food safety, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Mentor QA staff, provide training, and enforce high-quality standards while managing non-conformances and corrective actions.
  • Conduct internal audits (GMP, hygiene, systems), support external audits, and perform risk assessments and issue resolution.
  • Act as a liaison between departments, contribute to Lean Board meetings, and assist with customer complaint investigations.
  • Participate in NPD factory trials, ensure audit readiness, and maintain flexibility to meet business demands, including outside normal hour
What you'll need to succeed:
  • Degree in Food Science or a related technical field
  • 3+ years experience in technical management role
  • Qualification in auditing
  • Experience with major retailers
  • Strong problem solving and adaptability in fast paced environments
Desirable Criteria (it would be great if you have these but don't worry if you don't!)
  • Level 4 HACCP
  • Lead Auditor Training
  • Experience in NPD Processes and factory trials
  • Additional certs in project management or lean manufacturing
