We are currently working with one of the UK’s leading manufacturing companies within the aerospace sector, seeking to add a Quality Manager to their team. The Quality Manager will implement and drive a class-leading Quality vision across all departments, including production operations and regulatory compliance.

The Role:

1. Provide leadership: Lead the company's Quality function, collaborating with operations, engineering, planning, and supply chain to ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
2. Process management: Ensure quality processes are efficient and scalable to meet the business plan, supported by a skilled and motivated quality team.
3. Audit management: Oversee audit and corrective action programs, including internal and external audits, addressing findings, and implementing rectification plans.
4. System development: Manage and develop formal quality systems compliant with ISO, AS, NADCAP, and customer requirements.
5. Continuous improvement: Promote a culture of ongoing improvement by establishing processes for root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.

Person Specification

• HND/Degree qualification and/or significant relevant Quality experience in manufacturing.
• Extensive aerospace or relevant industry experience.
• Proven ability to solve problems and implement practical solutions in manufacturing.
• Deep knowledge of quality systems and regulations, specifically AS/AS/AS/AS standards.
• Strong continuous improvement mindset with experience managing diverse stakeholders.
