Job summary

First Recruitment Group is seeking a Lead Quality Management professional to drive quality excellence on a major high-security infrastructure project in Aldermaston. You will lead a team of quality specialists, manage non-conformities, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards throughout design, procurement, manufacture, testing, installation, and handover.

Qualifications

• 10 years' experience in a Quality Assurance/Control Management role within a construction environment.
• Valid SC Clearance or ability to obtain clearance.
• Proven leadership experience in a quality assurance/control environment.
• CQI Membership - Chartered Quality Professional (preferred).
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification.
• Experience supporting Third Party audits to ISO 9001 standards.
• Experience of Internal Audits and Supply Chain Audits.
• Ability to generate Quality Procedures and Work Instructions, including Inspection and Test Plans and Project Quality Plans.
• Experience with continuous improvement tools and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Managing a team of Quality professionals to deliver a key project.
• Investigating project Non-conformities and issues and driving corrective actions.
• Leading and reporting on the Client Feedback process.
• Producing Project Quality Plans and deploying contractual and client requirements.
• Planning and monitoring Inspection and Test Plans for manufacture and installation.
• Overseeing quality records review, compilation, and handover.
• Coordinating manufacturing documentation reviews and audits.
• Creating and implementing the project audit schedule and resolving findings.
• Supporting Third Party and Client audits.
• Producing Quality reports and dashboards for monthly reviews and KPI tracking.
• Building relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to drive quality.
• Leading cost-efficiency initiatives through continuous improvement.
