Job summary

PwE Recruitment Group Limited is seeking a Quality Management Lead - Electrical for a major UK nuclear infrastructure programme. You will oversee quality compliance across design, manufacture, installation and commissioning, ensuring supply chain conformance to contractual requirements and driving continuous improvement.

You will lead QA/QC activities, manage lifetime quality records, coordinate audits and engage with diverse stakeholders to deliver projects safely and to specification.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or Degree in a relevant Engineering, Science or related discipline, or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience within Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control in the nuclear sector or another safety-critical industry.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a quality management, QA, or QC environment.
• Strong track record delivering quality improvements with measurable business results.
• Experience developing and implementing Project Quality Control Plans.
• Strong understanding of supplier quality management, audits, inspections and surveillance activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance and quality control activities throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Ensure supply chain compliance with contractual quality requirements and specifications.
• Review, approve and monitor Contractor Quality Assurance Plans across the supply chain.
• Produce and maintain Project Quality Control Plans for assigned contracts.
• Drive quality improvements and support the resolution of quality-related issues.
• Coordinate supply chain audits and ensure timely closure of findings.
• Implement key contractual quality requirements, including lifetime quality records, inspection and testing arrangements.
• Lead Lifetime Quality Records reviews and quality release activities for equipment and manufactured components.
• Oversee manufacturing surveillance and inspection activities using a risk-based approach.
• Coordinate the review, acceptance and management of manufacturing, construction and project quality documentation.
• Build effective relationships with programme teams, suppliers, inspection agencies and other key stakeholders.
• Support Quality Delivery Managers and Quality Management Team Leads in delivering programme quality objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.

Play a pivotal role in assuring quality on some of the UK's most complex and nationally significant nuclear projects.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Management Lead - Electrical to oversee quality compliance throughout the entire project lifecycle, from contract award and design through to manufacture, installation, commissioning and project close-out.
