Job summary

SP Energy Networks in Blantyre is seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality across core and HVDC portfolios. You will translate regulatory and internal requirements into practical controls, governance and assurance arrangements, reporting to the Head of Quality, Environment and IMS.

You will manage Lead Quality Advisors, drive improvements, and ensure robust QA, audit and non-conformance processes across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Engineering, Quality or related discipline.
• Experience leading quality management in engineering/construction environments.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality function across portfolios, setting standards and priorities.
• Develop and mentor Lead Quality Advisors and specialists.
• Oversee QA, audit, inspection and non-conformance processes.
• Escalate strategic matters to the Head of Quality, Environment and IMS.
• Translate priorities into functional plans and improvement programmes.
• Lead quality performance reporting and management information.
• Drive continuous improvement across teams and management systems.
