Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a Quality Lead to shape quality across our North and Wales Division, based in Plymouth or Thame with travel to regional offices and clients' homes.

You will lead the quality assurance programme, prepare services for inspections, conduct audits, and partner with operational teams to embed a culture of quality and accountability, delivering safe, effective and person-centred care. This is a pivotal role within a growing provider.

Qualifications

  • Experience working within quality, compliance or governance in health or social care
  • Strong knowledge of CQC and/or CIW regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent audit, analytical and reporting skills
  • The confidence to coach, influence and support operational teams
  • A passion for continuous improvement and delivering outstanding care

Responsibilities

  • Lead our quality assurance programme and champion continuous improvement.
  • Prepare services for CQC and CIW inspections, supporting managers to achieve the best possible outcomes.
  • Conduct audits, identify trends and use data to drive meaningful improvements.
  • Work closely with operational teams to embed a positive culture of quality and accountability.
  • Support learning and development by identifying training needs and promoting best practice.
  • Develop policies, processes and governance frameworks that support sustainable growth.
  • Provide insight and reporting to senior leadership, helping shape the future direction of the business.

Covering across our North and Wales Division this role can be based in either our Plymouth or Thame, Oxford office, with travel across the regional offices and clients homes expected. Active Care in the Home has experienced significant growth over the past 12 months expanding our services to support more people with complex care needs to live safely and independently in the place they call home. As we continue to expand our services, strengthen our quality frameworks, and invest in delivering outstanding outcomes for the people we support, we're looking for an ambitious Quality Lead to join our team. About You:

You'll be an experienced quality professional with a strong understanding of health and social care regulation, governance and compliance.

  • Experience working within quality, compliance or governance in health or social care
  • Strong knowledge of CQC and/or CIW regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent audit, analytical and reporting skills
  • The confidence to coach, influence and support operational teams
  • A passion for continuous improvement and delivering outstanding care
