Job Title: Quality Lead

Location: Dungannon

Contract Type: Full Time - Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week

Role Summary:

As a Quality Lead, you will support the Quality and hygiene Department, ensuring food safety and quality compliance across the site. You will also be a key contact for audits, customer complaints, and continuous improvement initiatives, driving high-quality standards while mentoring and supporting the quality team.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality & Compliance:

  • Ensure all operations adhere to food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
  • Lead quality audits and compliance checks, ensuring adherence to internal and external standards.
  • Manage customer complaints, logging, investigating, and reporting findings to drive improvements.
  • Oversee traceability procedures, internal audits, and pest control & cleaning management systems.

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Supervise and develop the quality team, providing training and support to enhance skills.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and ensure team members are motivated to meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Support recruitment, retention, and staff development within the quality function.

Continuous Improvement & Risk Management:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance food safety and quality standards.
  • Support cost-saving initiatives related to quality control, including chemicals, equipment, and laboratory testing.
  • Ensure HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP procedures are maintained and continuously improved.
  • Work with the Health & Safety team to develop and implement risk assessments for quality activities.
