Job summary

A leading microbiology support company in Glasgow is seeking a Quality and Laboratory Manager to oversee our Quality Management System. The successful candidate will manage the laboratory team, ensuring compliance with GLP and cGMP standards. You will be responsible for maintaining quality documentation and conducting internal audits. The role offers a salary range of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, generous annual leave, and a yearly bonus. Qualifications

• Expert in GLP and cGMP with relevant qualifications.
• Understanding of CAPA and deviations, batch review and release.
• Experience with MHRA audits and regulatory readiness.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Quality Management System for Assured Micro Laboratory.
• Ensure continuous improvement through data analysis and trending.
• Supervise and lead a team, ensuring compliance with policies.

Skills

Extensive GLP and cGMP knowledge

Leadership of a Laboratory or Quality function

Laboratory testing and calibrations

Computerised System Validation (CSV)

Education

Degree Level or above in a scientific field

CQI & IRCA-Certified Lead Auditor or equivalent
